it is its master

everything is rubbish

save for its scissor hand

every attempt at defiance

it murders today

Dregs and Kegs

A regular pint aint that cheap,

Worse it tastes like spit,

That morning glob

Of last night’s supper,

But a keg is alright,

Because it aint light,

Heavy with a twist,

Of malt and hop dregs,

Which in quantities

Will drag you away

To a hazy and blurry

Existence

Where time stands still

And everything is just a

hic

As people rush through the traffic,

That life has become,

I have become motionless,

Unable to go through the motions Of daily endeavours,

Just being able to get through The next minute and the one after that,

Tomorrow is a dream,

A bad one,

That promises to be painful,

In the emptiness that it carries,

That dreadful vacuity,

Which engulfs like a massive towel,

Wringing life out of a soul,

Leaving it dripping with nothing.

Not even a pulse twitching,

To at least confirm that,

A heart beats,

And a soul lives.

One good way to go,

For those whose life,

Is nothing but shades,

Of black, never in gray,

Or white but pitch black.

Coz sometimes you,

Have to go,

Where it seems it will,

All be well.

That place where life,

Ceases to matter,

And pain disappears,

Into a vortex,

Of nothingness,

Comfortable nothingness.

Is to rush a delamere.

That way you will,

Go for sure,

With all guns blazing,

And your name in lights,

Immortalized in the papers,

On a white background.

When I started this blog it was to be purely for poetic release but once in a while something comes along which you have to give props coz its due.

This thing is Peupe. The new corporate blogging platform

Peupe is the straight from Al Kags and the other guys from multiple choices. Being the first in Africa (I stand to be corrected) I hope that they will shoot through the sky to become our IT billionaires.

Exams

“Life here in the foreign lands of Uganda aint that hard!” They told me when I had just crossed the border. As it were the first days weren’t that bad but as I now try to read for the exams, thing are getting a bit rough. Chaps hitting with more or less Greek most of the time you wonder if what they wre teaching in class was not just born of a bloddy hangover the guy had in the morning.

I cant wait to get back home relax for a bit but I know that two week vacation will pass very quickly.

That said, it kind of a same old feeling putting my first post on WordPress coz I had a blog with blogger but I got fed up with teir services
